Chamber to present Charles deBono Volunteer Appreciation Award at Annual Gala
The Charles DeBono Volunteer Appreciation Award recognizes an individual that has made outstanding contributions to the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce and the wider community through active volunteerism. The award was created in 1998 in memory of Charles DeBono, a long-time Chamber supporter and volunteer who embodied the characteristics of a model volunteer. The 2017 award will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Gala on October 14 at Bearpath Golf & Country Club.

This award recognizes the individual for the success of the company and the individual’s participation in community affairs. The 2017 award will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Gala on October 14 at Bearpath Golf & Country Club.

Letter from the Chair of the Board: Turn your passion into your brand
On August 17, the Chamber will be hosting the B.E.E.R. luncheon. The event will be a panel discussion on the pursuit of turning your passion into your profession. Each panel member will share their story and insights of building and operating a business built around their passions. Passions often are what compel someone to start or join a business, and they become a large part of who they are and what they do. As a result, their passion becomes a strong part of their personal brand and can also lead a business brand.

Chamber releases 2017 Post Secondary Scholarship application form
The Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce supports higher education and grants a $2,000 scholarship to an area student who exhibits proven qualities of commitment to the learning program, high initiative, and high achievement in education and involvement in their community/volunteer activities.
