Letter From EPC President, Pat Mulqueeny

Chamber Members,
Together we are navigating unchartered territory.  We want to assure you we are working hard on your behalf and helping to support our members and the Eden Prairie community.

Help us understand
We are tracking the impact of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) on our area businesses, non-profits and the community as a whole.  We are in continuous contact with our city, schools, county, state and federal officials to get the most up-to-date information and provide information to them on the impact it is having locally.  In the coming weeks, we will be reaching out with a survey and questions to help understand the impact on our businesses and to share that with officials so they can measure impacts and ways they can help.  If you have immediate comments, please e-mail those to me at pat.mulqueeny@epchamber.org.

Communications
As we continue to gather updates and information from the White House all the way down to our city and area businesses like Eden Prairie Center and others, we are sharing this with a daily e-mail typically sent at 4:00 in the afternoon.  We will continue to do this as the information and updates warrant it.  Please share this with anyone you feel should get this information, or direct them to our website (updated with information) and they can sign-up for our e-mails.  In addition, we are part of the conference calls that the MN Department of Employment and Economic Development Commissioner has set-up and will provide any updates the commissioner and his team share with us, and also ask specific questions as well to advocate for help on behalf of our business community.

Chamber Office
We currently are having staff work a rotation of set hours in the office and a work from home model.  This may change in the future, but please note that staff will be checking e-mails for any questions and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.

On behalf of the Eden Prairie Chamber, we thank you for your support and your efforts during this difficult time.

Stay safe and stay positive!

Pat MulQueeny, IOM
President
