Together we are navigating unchartered territory. We want to assure you we are working hard on your behalf and helping to support our members and the Eden Prairie community.
Help us understand
We are tracking the impact of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) on our area businesses, non-profits and community as a whole. We are in continually contact with our city, schools, county, state and federal officials to get the most up-to-date information and provide information to them on the impact it is having locally. In the coming weeks, we will be reaching out with a survey and questions to help understand the impact on our businesses and to share that with officials so they can measure impacts and ways they can help. If you have immediate comments, please e-mail those to me at email@example.com.
As we continue to gather updates and information from the White House all the way down to our city and area businesses like Eden Prairie Center and others, we are sharing this with a daily e-mail typically sent at 4:00 in the afternoon. We will continue to do this as the information and updates warrant it. Please share this with anyone you feel should get this information, or direct them to our website (updated with information) and they can sign-up for our e-mails. In addition, we are part of the conference calls that the MN Department of Employment and Economic Development Commissioner has set-up and will provide any updates the commissioner and his team share with us, and also ask specific questions as well to advocate for help on behalf of our business community.
We currently are having staff work a rotation of set hours in the office and a work from home model. This may change in the future, but please note that staff will be checking e-mails for any questions and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.
On behalf of the Eden Prairie Chamber, we thank you for your support and your efforts during this difficult time.
Stay safe and stay positive!

Ways to Help Locally
Brighter Days Grief Center
Brighter Days Grief Center here in Eden Prairie is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) that provides free grief support resources to adults, young adults, teenagers and children who are anticipating or enduring the death of a beloved family member. They provide a private and compassionate space and offer access to professional services, resources and daily practical needs for those grieving. Their non-profit reaches outside Eden Prairie, but are always looking to support the needs of the community they work and live in.
Want to support your local restaurants while helping those grieving? Buying gift cards are a great way to support our local restaurants and donate to help a family in need. Contact the Brighter Days Grief Center for more information.
Eden Prairie Foundation
The Foundation has created the COVID-19 Response Fund. Donations will be turned into quick-response grants and directed to those local nonprofits that, because their delivery systems have been disrupted, might be having financial difficulties providing basic needs such as food, clothing, etc. through this difficult period.
PROP Food Shelf
Food donors who deliver to PROP just need to look for the open warehouse door or honk their horn and a volunteer will come out to receive their food if they’d prefer to stay in their vehicles.
Red’s Savoy Pizza
We want to do our part and support those who may be immune-compromised or in the high-risk group. The Eden Prairie and Edina location would love to provide a pizza on us to those who may fit in those categories and aren’t able to leave their home during this time. If you know of someone who may need their nerves calmed with a Savoy pizza, please email me at email@example.com with a name, address, and pizza of Choice.
Other Ways to Help
If you know of other ways that you can help in the community, please share it with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
